1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Yougotmatched website and services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and Yougotmatched, operated by Celeri AS ("we," "us," "our").

2. Eligibility

To use Yougotmatched, you must:

  1. Be at least 18 years of age at the time of registration.
  2. Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law.
  3. Not be prohibited from using the Platform under the laws of your jurisdiction.
  4. Not have been previously banned or removed from the Platform for violating these Terms.

By registering an account, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is truthful, accurate, and complete. You agree to maintain the accuracy of your profile information at all times.

3. Account Registration and Conduct

When you create an account on Yougotmatched, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate personal information, including your real name, age, and location.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with any third party.
  • Accept full responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You are expected to interact with other members respectfully and honestly. Harassment, threats, bullying, impersonation, or any form of abusive behavior toward other users will result in immediate account suspension or permanent removal.

4. Prohibited Content and Activities

The following actions are strictly prohibited on the Platform:

  1. Publishing false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, or unlawful content.
  2. Uploading images that you do not own or have the right to use.
  3. Soliciting money from other users or engaging in financial fraud or scams.
  4. Using the Platform for commercial advertising, promotions, or solicitations without prior written consent.
  5. Stalking, harassing, or intimidating other users in any way.
  6. Attempting to interfere with, disrupt, or exploit the technical infrastructure of the Platform.
  7. Creating multiple accounts or using automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform.
  8. Distributing malware, viruses, or any other harmful software.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these prohibitions, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, trademarks, and software on the Platform are the intellectual property of Yougotmatched or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our express written permission.

Content you upload to the Platform (photos, text, profile information) remains your property. However, by uploading content, you grant Yougotmatched a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.

6. Limitation of Liability

Yougotmatched provides the Platform on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no guarantees regarding matches, relationships, or any specific outcomes from using the service. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
  • We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Yougotmatched in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to use the Platform at your own risk and to take reasonable precautions when interacting with other users. We strongly recommend reviewing our safety tips before meeting anyone in person.

7. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon receiving your request, we will:

  1. Deactivate your profile within 48 hours.
  2. Permanently delete your personal data within 30 days, in accordance with GDPR and applicable data protection regulations.
  3. Send you a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes:

  • Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you disagree with any changes, you may close your account before the new Terms take effect.
